The Walking Dead: No Man's Land mobile game trailer unveiled

The Walking Dead: No Man's Land has just been unveiled in the form of a trailer. What is it? It looks like it could be a survival/strategy game!
July 22, 2014

The Walking Dead franchise is quickly spreading across multiple platforms and media formats. We have the comics, TV show, a couple games and many other products. An upcoming game is in the works, with a dominant focus in mobile. The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land has just been unveiled in the form of a trailer, which you can watch right above.

As you can see, details are scarce and we have no idea how the game will operate. All we get to see is a few characters and a crowd of “walkers”. The game is developed by Next Games, in collaboration with AMC, so we know it will closely follow the popular TV show.

“Our approach is to stay true to the main themes of the TV show: survival strategy, finding safety for your people, balancing between right and wrong and, of course, action when it comes to fighting against the hordes of walkers. We respect the creators of The Walking Dead immensely and want this game to portray the world they have created as closely as possible.”

Of course, this game will feature a parallel storyline in the same world as the show and the other two games. We are not sure how gameplay will work, but it’s put out to be some form of survival/strategy game.

We can see it being something in between TellTale’s The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. The gamer could get more action than in telltale’s game, but much more strategy and story than in Survival Instinct. Of course, that is only our assumption, so don’t take our word for it.

We can’t wait to learn more about this game. Let’s keep our eyes and ears open for this one. Meanwhile, enjoy the trailer. This game is set to be released along with the mid-season premiere of the TV show’s fifth season. This means we will have to wait until Early 2015 to get gaming on our mobile devices.
