Although iOS users have had access to VH1 content via an official app for a while now, the VH1 app is finally making its way over to Android as well.

In a nutshell, the app allows you to stream your favorite VH1 programs “anytime and anywhere”, while also giving you access to sneaks peeks, interviews, select music videos, and bonus clips. There’s also a “enhanced viewing companion”baked into the app, which basically provides a second screen experience when you’re watching various VH1 primetime series.

It’s important to note that full episodes and some other exclusive content will require you to enter your TV provider credentials. Some of the networks that support the ability to watch free VH1 full episodes include DirecTV, Time Warner Cable, Verizon, and AT&T U-verse — to name just a few. Once you verify your TV provider with the app, you’ll have access to many different shows, and even some VH1 original movies.

Aside from requiring you to enter your TV provider info for full access to the app, the VH1 app also requires you to have a device running Android 4.0 or higher. To check out the free app, or to download it, you’ll want to head over to Google Play.
