Verizon experiencing widespread service issues in Virginia, DC & Maryland

Verizon is having significant issues with their FiOS services and wireless services across Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.

Verizon customers first started noticing the outage — which mostly impacted Internet service, but also TV and wireless service — at about 7 p.m. Sunday. Verizon officials say service issue was fixed just after midnight Monday. – CBSLocal

Although Verizon claims to have fixed the issues, I can personally attest to continued problems across the board (I live in Arlington, VA).

One look on twitter can see that I am not alone. Additionally, Verizon’s outage map shows service problems throughout the D.C. area.
