Themer Beta updated, introduces icon pack support
Themer is without a doubt the easiest way to bring a unique look to your Android device, but it’s far from perfect. While there are a wide range of user-created homescreens available in Themer, the level of individualized customization that you can bring to these individual themes is relatively limited. Luckily, this is about to change in the latest update to Themer Beta.
With the new update in place, you’ll be able to further customize both the homescreen and app drawer thanks to the added support icon packs. Themer should work with most existing icon packs found in the Play Store, giving you plenty of great icons to choose from.
Applying icons is as easy as opening your app drawer and bringing up Manage App Drawer. You then select Set Icon Pack, and that’s all there is to it. Unfortunately, you can’t manually assign app icons but this is still a very welcome change.
While the addition of icon pack support is the biggest difference found in the Themer update, some of the other minor improvements include various bug fixes and improved Spanish and Mandarin translations. To grab the latest version of Themer Beta, you’ll want to head on over to Google Play.
