Telus rolls out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to HTCOne X

Earlier in the month, we saw the HTCOne X on at least two countries – Canada and UK – get its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. By Canada, of course, we meant only those who sport the former flagship phone on Rogers Wireless. But that won’t be the case for long.
If you’re on Telus, you’ll be ecstatic to hear that it seems the carrier has also started rolling out Jelly Bean to the phone. As mentioned by Mobile Syrup, the software update is being pushed out Over-the-air (OTA) to HTCOne X owners.

The update, which brings the phone’s firmware to version 3.17.661.2, comes with the expected Jelly Bean goodness, as well as HTC’s Sense 4+. Seeing that the file comes in at 692MB, you may want to use your WiFi connection to download the package.
So, have you installed Jelly Bean on your One X? Or are you still waiting to see the update notification? Tell us in the comments below.
