Scalpels at the ready - Surgeon Simulator arrives on Android

A touch version of the popular PC title Surgeon Simulator has just landed at the Google Play Store, priced $5.99.

A port of the popular PC title, Surgeon Simulator, has just landed on the Play Store. The game thrusts players into a rather cramped operating theatre, as they attempt to save Bob from a wide range of ailments, or end up butchering him in the process.

The game is played out entirely from the first person perspective, where you can wield various surgical tools in an attempt to save your patient. The original PC title’s clumsy mouse controls have been ported over to work with touchscreens, although that doesn’t necessarily make the procedures any easier.

If you’re interested, you can find the official trailer for the touch version of the game below:

Surgeon Simulator will set you back $5.99 from the Play Store, and the game is completely free from pesky in-app purchases. However, Surgeon Simulator is not compatible with every device at the moment, as it currently can only be installed on tablets running Android 4.0 and up.

Are you prepped and ready for surgery?
