StuffMerge Clipboard Composer - Indie app of the day
What is StuffMerge Clipboard Composer?
StuffMerge Clipboard Composer is an application that gives you a more rich copy and paste experience. It’s true that such a task is generally mundane but if you copy and paste a lot of things then this could be very useful. It’s free to use in the Google Play Store with a pro version available for $1.17US.
Here’s how the app works. You open StuffMerge Clipboard Composer and a white tab will appear on the left side of the screen. You then go forth and copy many things. Everything you copy will be automatically pasted into the app which you can then bring up by tapping on the white tab. You can do with this list of copied things as you wish such as exporting to Evernote, emailing to a friend, or sharing on social media.
You can also do a host of things inside of the app. You can create groups if you need to copy and paste from multiple sources and it can even handle things like copying an image. The video shows a great example of this with the eBay app. You can copy the link and then you can also copy the thumbnail image so you can have both. There is even an experimental OCR feature that will attempt to copy text and images even on sites and from apps that don’t let you select text to copy.
