Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 Premium Suite upgrade goes live today
Remember Samsung’s Premium Suite software that we heard about all those months ago? Well good news if you’re a Sprint customer, as there’s an update heading your way which brings this new software suite to your trusty Samsung Galaxy S3. Although the Premium Suite has been available for a while on other carriers and in other regions, Sprint is finally rolling out the update today, so keep your eyes peeled for the upgrade notification as the update will be rolling out in stages.
In case you’ve forgotten, the update adds quite a few handy features to the Galaxy S3, including Multi Window support, which allows users to split the phones display in half and run two different apps side by side. Then there’s Group Cast for collaborating on documents and presentations with other users in real time.
There’s also a few tweaks to the camera app; the new Best Face feature replaces the existing Best Photo options and will chose the best face for each person in the photo after taking five consecutive pictures. So you can be sure to achieve the perfect smile each time. And if you want to tweak these new snaps, the Premium Suite also comes with the Paper Artist app for all your editing needs.
There are a ton of other features added too, including AllShare Cast, an improved Samsung Gallery, the Swype-esque Continuous Input function, and better compatibility with docking stations thanks to Smart Dock.
If you don’t receive the update automatically then you can head on over to Settings > System Update > Update Samsung Software to manually check for the download. As with all updates, it’s best to make sure your phone has plenty of charge before proceeding.
