B&H has given a handful of Sony smartphones significant discounts in a new sale (spotted by Android Police). The retailer has dropped the price on several Sony Xperia XA- and XZ-series smartphones as part of its limited ‘Holiday Savings.’
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has received the biggest discount — $200 off the RRP — bringing the handset down to $449.99 from $649.99. This is a good saving, though you’ll see the Coral Pink model currently at the same on Amazon.com. B&H, however, has all four colors at the bottom $450 price in its catalog.
The next biggest saving you’ll find is on Sony Xperia XZ2 at $170-off; the flagship can be yours for $529.99, also in four colors.
The Xperia XA2 Ultra, meanwhile, is down to $279.99 from $399.99. Despite its ‘Ultra’ moniker, this device is less powerful than the XZ2 or XZ2 Compact, arriving with a Snapdragon 630 chipset rather than the Snapdragon 845 the XZ2 models carry. However, it does have the largest display at 6 inches as opposed to the respective 5.7- and 5.0-inch displays the XZ2 and XZ2 Compact have.
Finally, the Sony Xperia XA2 standard price has been dropped 30 bucks to $219.99. This is the least powerful phone on the list but it still stands out thanks to its 23MP rear camera, small form factor, and 5.2-inch 1080p display. Sony says it and the XA2 Ultra will receive Android Pie from March 4 next year, while the XZ2 and XZ2 compact are already on Pie.
This slew of Sony devices may have larger bezels than we’re used to in 2018, but they’re also among the best notch-free phones you’ll find. With one of the chief complaints against Sony phones being their high prices, these new offers could finally make them worth the money. Hit the links below if you’re interested.
