One of the better trends in the last couple of years has to be the shift towards bigger batteries, as manufacturers increasingly embrace larger capacities. It’s a refreshing change from bygone years, when companies sacrificed battery size in favor of a thin design.

But we do wonder how much capacity our readers’ smartphones have on tap these days. That’s the subject of today’s featured poll, as we ask you how big is your phone’s battery. You can answer the poll below.

There’s obviously more to battery life than capacity alone, as many of today’s devices are equipped with power-hungry 5G connectivity and high refresh rate screens. So you might not see a major gain in endurance if your new device has a much bigger battery than your old phone.

Still, battery size gives us a rough idea of what to expect for an Android phone’s real-world endurance. After all, Android devices with sub-3,000mAh batteries usually struggle to last for a day of heavy usage, while phones with 5,000mAh batteries or more should give you a full day (if not more) with all the bells and whistles enabled.
