Phone retailer Clove UK announced on Monday this week that stocks of the highly sought-after Samsung Galaxy Nexus have arrived.  Clove UK also assured customers that  orders would begin shipping out on Tuesday.

The Galaxy Nexus handsets available from Clove UK are apparently the SIM-free variety and are not locked or tied to any specific mobile carrier.

Responding to reports of random changes in the device’s sound volume, Clove announced that Samsung has performed additional quality checks on Clove’s stocks and that Samsung has assured the retailer that Clove’s stocks don’t have the volume problem.

The Galaxy Nexus runs the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and packs the following specs and features:

  • 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED Display
  • 1.2 GHz dual-core processor
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 16 GB of storage
  • 5 megapixel rear camera
  • 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera
  • 1,750 mAh battery power
  • Near Field Communication (NFC) chip
  • Face Unlock, Android Beam, and more

Clove UK sells the 16-gigabyte model of the Galaxy Nexus at £515 (VAT inclusive).  Take a look at Clove’s unboxing video and see whether you don’t turn green with envy:
