Beautiful iOS puzzle-adventure hybrid 'Shardlands' arrives to Android

Shardlands has been available to iOS users since October, where the gorgeous puzzle-adventure hybrid has seen quite a bit of positive attention from iUsers and critics alike. Now the game has finally arrived to Android as well!
If you have never heard of Shardlands, the story centers around a heroine by the name of Dawn and has you exploring bizarre worlds and solving unique puzzles along the way. Aside from solving puzzles, there are also plenty of beasts to fight off and contraptions to avoid. In total, there are 25 levels to work through, all brilliantly optimized for touchscreen control and featuring a catchy soundtrack to boot. To top it all off, the game also supports KitKat’s immersive mode.
Although the iOS version costs $2.99, the Android version is free. As to be expected, there are some catches here. First, there are ad videos, from time to time, in order for the developer to generate money for their effort. Second, the game is missing a few features, though it seems to be mostly playable without paying a dime.
For those that want the full experience and don’t want to mess around with ads, you can unlock the full game through an in-app purchase. Beyond unlocking the game, there doesn’t appear to be any other in-app purchases to get in the way.
Shardlands is available now through Google Play. For those that have already given it a spin, what do you think so far?
