The HTC One (M8) not only brings greatly improved hardware, there’s also several new software features heading our way thanks to Sense 6, such as the new Motion Launch gestures, an extreme battery saving mode, a redesigned camera app with improvements to Zoe and the list goes on.
The good news is that it’s only a matter of time before at least some of these enhanced software features make their way over to the HTC One (M7), HTC One Mini and One Max. To that end, HTC has confirmed that all three of these devices will see Sense 6 sometime this spring. Keep in mind that at least some of the software features may require hardware functionality that isn’t present in older HTC handsets, so don’t be too surprised if there are at least a few Sense features that stay exclusive to the HTC One M8.
Unfortunately, that’s all the details we have for now. Hopefully HTC will give us more specifics about their timeframe for updating to Sense 6.0 in the months to come. What do you think of Sense 6.0 based on what we currently know so far? Excited to see these features head to your existing HTC handset? Also be sure to stay tuned to Android Authority, where we’ll be bringing you a deeper look at what’s new with Sense 6.0 in fairly short order.
