Secretlab's Omega gaming chair is on sale for $349 during Black Friday
Gaming chairs are notoriously expensive at times, but that won’t be true for Black Friday. Secretlab is selling its Omega gaming chair starting at $349 ($70 off) for a leather version. You’ll see other discounts regardless of your material and color choices, including Special Edition models.
We have a few other computer chair deals in our early Black Friday deals hub, but this is one of the best — particularly if you want a seat for gaming.
In our experience (including that of Executive Editor Kris Carlon), the Secretlab Omega is one of the few gaming chairs in its class that matches the hype. The sturdy build, nearly lie-flat reclining, and adjustable ergonomics make it suitable for everything from extended gaming sessions through to a long day at work. The relatively subdued base design should feel just as appropriate for a home office as it does for a flashy game setup.
There are limits. The Omega is meant for people under six feet tall and a weight less than 242lbs, You’ll want to spring for the Titan or Titan XL if you’re significantly taller or heavier. We’d add that it isn’t the poshest (Noblechairs’ Icon is a good example) or the most advanced, although Napa leather is an option.
Secretlab’s Omega is one of the better choices as far as balanced gaming chairs go, though. Costs can easily climb if you want premium seating. Logitech’s Herman Miller-made Embody chair will cost you a staggering $1,495, for instance. You may get more for that money, but the Omega is arguably a better value for most people.
