The Samsung Galaxy S3 is, arguably, the hottest smartphone in the world right now. Released last week at the Samsung Unpacked event in London, the Galaxy S3 sports a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, a large 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest Android version available. We went into more detail regarding the specs in a previous article here, and we’ve deemed the Galaxy S3 a worthy member of the Samsung Galaxy S line of flagship smartphones in another.
Judging how the Galaxy S3 is basically on everyone’s wish list, we’ve decided to round up all the online retailers from the UK that currently allow for Galaxy S3 preorders. Just make sure that you make good use of the money you’ll save! Oh, in case you weren’t aware by now, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be released in the UK on May 30.
First up, Amazon UK has made the 16GB, unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 available for pre-order in both colors (Pebble Blue and Marble White) at the price of £499.95.
Online retailer HandTec.co.uk has also made the unlocked version of the Galaxy S3 available for pre-order, this time around at the slightly lower price of £499.79, available in both color versions.
The third retailer that accepts pre-orders for the Galaxy S3 is Clove.co.uk, although their price is higher than that of Amazon or Handtec, at £514.85.
If you’re looking to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S3 on a contract, then Phones4U.co.uk has the best deal around at this point. Pricing varies depending on the contract, but Phones4U will also throw in a Samsung Galaxy S3 exclusive pre-order bundle worth £50, consisting out of a 16GB microSD card and a case for the Galaxy S3.
King of Gadgets
The most expensive online retailer that allows for Galaxy S3 pre-orders is kingofgadgets.co.uk. Their price is £532.55, so I’d advise for pre-ordering the S3 from someplace else.
So there you have it, these are the UK online retailers that allow for S3 pre-orders. Does the early bird get the worm? Or will you wait until the smartphone is officially released?
