Samsung Galaxy Camera

Seeing that the Samsung Galaxy Camera was announced for AT&T in early October, this means you’ve had more than a month to consider whether or not the Jelly Bean-powered camera is worth the investment. If you still have some doubts, you can now go the nearest AT&T stores to test the device in the real world.

As expected, the Galaxy Camera is arriving on AT&T retail stores today, where it can be had for $500. AT&T said it isn’t mandatory to get a data plan, even though the connected camera comes with 4G radio.

While you won’t be able to make a regular phone call using the Galaxy Camera, there’s a lot to like about the point-and-shoot camera alternative. It boasts a 4.8-inch Super Clear HD display, 1.4GHz Exynos quad-core processor, 8GB storage, microSDXC support, 16MP BSI sensor, f/2.8 lens with 21x optical zoom, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI and a 1,650mAh battery.

So, anyone planning to make a trip to the mall to get the Galaxy Camera?
