Samsung knows that not everyone can afford it’s flagship phones, so the Galaxy A51 was introduced in December as a mid-range option for Galaxy fans on a budget. It retails for $399.99 but, today only, Amazon has it on offer for $289 ($111 off).
The Galaxy A51 has decent specs for the price point. It features 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 6.5-inch OLED display. It’s powered by the Exynos 9611 processor and a 4,000mAh battery.
The rear camera setup features a 48MP main sensor, with support from a 12MP wide-angle sensor and two further 5MP lenses. Around the front, there’s a 32MP camera for sharp selfies.
While the phone offered promise, we found the performance to be a bit of a letdown, especially compared to the competitors around the $400 price range such as the iPhone SE and the Pixel 3a. But if you’re loyal to the Samsung brand, you might forgive this shortcoming.
The US version of the Galaxy A51 is on offer until the end of the day, so you’ll have to act quickly to get the best price. The widget below takes you to it.
There’s actually an even more affordable version of the Galaxy A51 available on Amazon, but the trade-off is that it’s the international model. That means that it doesn’t come with a US warranty and won’t be compatible with CDMA carriers.
