Samsung is expected to bring out a new series of metal-clad devices later this year, and the images below are our best look at them yet.

Tentatively named Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7, these new smartphones will marry sleek metallic designs with mid-range specifications. In the past, we’ve got a peek at them thanks to a few low quality hands-on images, but now we’ve got a set of press images, as well as clearer actual shots of the A3 and A5.

These images don’t reveal anything new about the A series, but they are a nice confirmation that previous rumors were spot on. But, we still can’t tell from the pictures whether the entire body of the devices will be made of metal or just the frame (a source that supposedly handled one said the back of the phones is made of a non-metallic material that feels cold to the touch).

Rumors pegged the release of the A series in Q3 2014, which just ended last week. Still, we may not be that far from welcoming the A series to the fold, as the increasing number of leaks seems to suggest.

Do you see yourself sporting an A series device? Is Samsung’s new metal design something you like?
