Earlier today, Samsung’s Exynos division took to twitter and began teasing that something “new and exciting” is coming tomorrow. So what can we expect? The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 may still be a couple months away, but we could soon get a better look at the device’s next-gen Exynos processor, which will reportedly be used in select markets as a substitute for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon series.
Back in June we heard a rumor claiming that Samsung would be pushing its Exynos line with the Note 4, despite the fact that the Note 3 shipped only with Qualcomm processors. The new Exynos 5433 CPU is said to be paired with an Intel Cat. 6 LTE chip and should be more than capable of handling the Note 4’s rumored QHD display.
That’s all we know about the Exynos 5433, though the teaser above hints that whatever they are announcing will run cool. Of course, there’s also the possibility that tomorrow’s announcement has absolutely nothing to do with the Note 4. On the other hand, the Exynos 5410 was announced months ahead of the Galaxy S4’s debut, so anything is possible. Be sure to check back with us tomorrow, as we’ll hopefully know more soon enough!
