We’ve been hearing bits and pieces about Samsung Galaxy Note 2’s release in Canada for a few weeks already, but now finally the puzzle is complete. The second gen phablet will be getting a sumptuous launch across all major carriers up north on October 30, but the best news of it all is that Psy will be in Toronto to make the event that much more special.

The Korean rapper that’s been breaking every YouTube record known to mankind with its satirical K-pop “Gangnam Style” hit will perform live at the Kool Haus in front of a select audience.

Now don’t think you can buy your way to Psy’s first ever Canadian concert. That’s not how things work in Gangnam. Instead, if you like Samsung Canada’s Facebook page, you can get one of the 175 pairs of tickets being given away each day all week. Also, don’t forget to dress classy and dance cheesy if you’re one of the lucky winners.

As for GNote 2’s actual release, you should expect both the Marble White and Titanium Gray versions to be up for grabs from Bell, Telus, Wind, Rogers, Mobilicity, Videotron and SaskTel brick and mortar and online stores starting next Tuesday.

The off contract prices of the 5.5-incher start at around $729, while if you choose to get the phablet with a 3-year carrier agreement you should be asked to pay only $199.99 upfront, regardless of your network of choice. Oppan Galaxy Note 2 style!
