'Recollect' is a new to-do list app allows you to set location-based tasks and reminders

Recollect is a brand new (free) to-do list app that features a clean, attractive UI and the ability to set location-based tasks and reminders. Keep reading for more details!

Looking for a way to stay better organized with the help of your Android device? When it comes to location-based reminders, Google already has a solid system in place with Google Now, and of course Google Keep also has such functionality. But if for whatever reason you are looking for a third option,  you might want to turn your attention towards Recollect.

Recollect is a new to-do app with a clean, easy to-use UI that is designed for smartphones running Android 4.0 or higher. Unfortunately it is not recommended for tablets, as there have been reports of graphical glitches when used with an Android tablet.

As you’ll see in the video below, Recollect’s main feature is its ability to set your tasks and reminders based on just about any location. You could have specific tasks that only give you notifications when you’re at home or the office, or even a specific task for when you walk into the supermarket or a big box retailer like Target.

Recollect is a nice looking app though its functionality is currently somewhat limited. The good news is that the developer plans to introduce several new features such as recurring tasks and reminders, checklists, backup and multi-device sync and true tablet support in the (hopefully) near future. Still, it’s hard to complain about this app, especially when you consider that it is absolutely free to use.

To check out the to-do app for yourself, be sure to head on over to Google Play.
