The Razer Phone is on sale early in the US

It looks like Razer got a little too excited and put the Razer Phone on sale early. Are you going to pick up the first phone from the gaming company?

Back when the Razer Phone was announced, we were told it would hit store shelves on November 17. We’ve been eagerly anticipating that date to get our hands on the first Android phone with a 120 Hz display. But it looks like Razer was even more excited than we were and put the phone for sale early.

As of right now, all you can get is the regular edition of the Razer Phone. The special edition is already sold out, which isn’t that surprising considering only 1,337 units were made. The phone will run you $700, but Razer is offering up some accessories at the time of purchase as well. They range from a $20 case to a $179 Bluetooth speaker.

As a refresher, the Razer Phone has a 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440p display. It runs at up to 120 Hz and supports Wide Color Gamut as well. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and has an astounding 8 GB of RAM. You can store up to 64 GB of data on the internal storage of the device, but if you need more, it supports microSD cards up to 2 TB. The rear of the device houses a dual 12 MP camera setup. The wide-angle sensor has a f/1.75 aperture and the zoom sensor has a f/2.6 aperture. The front-facing camera is an 8 MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture.

If you do decide to pick up the Razer Phone, be prepared to live the dongle life. There’s no headphone jack here so you must use a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter for wired headphones. The dongle is actually a THX-certified USB Type-C audio adapter and 24-bit DAC. If you want to go wire-free, you can use Bluetooth or the Dolby Atmos front-facing speakers

If you want to pick up the Razer Phone, you’ll need to head over to Razer’s website (button below). The phone is also destined for Amazon and Microsoft stores, but we haven’t seen any pop up there yet.
