Pulse adds support for social network feeds

Pulse has launched a new update which adds support for Flickr, Instagram, Tumblr and YouTube social media feeds. Now you can view all your news and social updates without having to change apps.

Pulse, the popular news feed app, has released a new update which adds support for popular social media feeds. The update will allow you in add your favorite social networks into your list of news feeds, so you can receive all your news and media updates without having to change applications.

Supported networks include Flickr, Instagram, Tumblr and YouTube. You can jump straight into the desired webpage through Pulse, so YouTube videos, for example, will load up in the app without having to switch to your browser or YouTube app, which is a nice touch.

There are also some updates to the apps layout when viewing photos or video, which should help keep the important parts of the page clutter free and easy to access.
