Pressy is finally starting to ship, estimated arrival in 5-14 days
Pressy has been taking a lot of flack recently due to its numerous delays, questionable communication and confusion around whether or not its companion app will be available through Google Play. Thankfully, the dust is finally starting to settle.
Not only has the Pressy app finally arrived to Google Play, reportedly hardware units have started to ship. In an update to its Kickstarter page, the Pressy team says that 15,000 orders have already been processed and shipped out, and they hope to have all orders processed by Wednesday. Bottom-line, if you’ve been waiting for your Pressy, it should be on its way in an estimated 5-14 days, though some locations may take as long as 21 days.
Unfortunately, if you were hoping to try out the app before your button actually arrives, you’re out of luck. In order to actually use the Pressy app you’ll need to use a special activation code, which is the Pressy team’s way of preventing anyone from using the apps with 3rd party clones like the MiKey.
For those that ordered a Pressy, are you glad to finally see that the device is on its way or are you no longer that excited?
