TL;DR
  • POCO has confirmed that the M4 Pro is coming and will launch on November 9.
  • Previous listings point to 4GB/64GB and 6GB/64GB variants, as well as 33W charging.

Poco’s M series of phones have been around for a while, usually being Redmi devices with a fresh design and competitive budget price tag. The company’s next phone, the POCO M4 Pro, has already passed through the likes of the FCC, but the firm is now making this device official.

POCO revealed the M4 Pro 5G name on social media today, while also announcing a November 9 online launch event at 8 PM Beijing time (8 AM ET). You can check out the event poster at the top of the page.

We already have a few nuggets of information to go on, with the FCC confirming 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants, for starters. The listing also reveals NFC capabilities, MIUI 12.5, and dual-SIM support.

Another certification listing also pointed to 33W charging support, which would be a welcome improvement over the M3 Pro’s 18W speeds.

Otherwise, we’ll have to wait until next month to see what else the POCO M4 Pro has to offer. But we hope this new phone continues the POCO trend of offering competitive pricing.
