Oppo's in-display selfie camera tech.

It seems like quite a few smartphone sensors have moved underneath the display, such as the earpiece and fingerprint scanner. In-display selfie cameras might be the holy grail right now, and Oppo has shown off a video demonstrating the tech on real-world hardware.

In a video posted to Twitter, the company shows the upper half of a smartphone. From here, an OPPO employee activates the selfie camera, takes a photo, and then obscures the camera with their finger.

OPPO isn’t the only company aiming to bring in-display selfie camera tech to life, as Samsung previously confirmed its intention to do so as well.
