TL;DR
  • OnePlus is apparently set to launch the N10 and N100 phones later this month.
  • The two phones are expected to be more affordable than the OnePlus Nord.
  • Their availability could be limited to the US market.

OnePlus is gearing up for a new Nord launch. We know this because the company has been posting cryptic teasers on its dedicated Nord Instagram account. We’ve also heard several rumors about upcoming affordable OnePlus phones in the Nord series.

Now, tipster Mukul Sharma claims that OnePlus will launch the OnePlus N10 and N100 later this month. The N in the name likely denotes the Nord series.

So what are these phones all about? According to previous rumors, the OnePlus N10 is the first US-bound Nord series phone. Sharma also claims that both the OnePlus N10 and N100 are unlikely to launch in India and that they’re likely coming to the US instead.

OnePlus N10 specs

The OnePlus N10 is rumored to use the Snapdragon 690 chipset. The SoC is meant for mid-range devices and features an integrated 5G modem. You can expect it to deliver comparable speeds to the Snapdragon 765G-toting OnePlus Nord in some respects. Currently, there’s only one phone — the Sharp Sense 5G — that houses the chip.

Elsewhere, the OnePlus N10 is also expected to deliver a 6.5-inch 1080p 90Hz display, a quad camera setup led by a 64MP shooter, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. OnePlus is said to be targeting a price of under $400 for the phone.

OnePlus N100 specs

Not much is known about the OnePlus N100. The smartphone could be the rumored OnePlus Clover device. If so, the phone could be even cheaper than the so-called OnePlus N10. It’s expected to feature the Snapdragon 460 chip, a 6.52-inch 720p display, a triple camera array headed by a 13MP sensor, a 6,000mAh battery, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. All this is said to be made available at around $200.

We recently heard from tipster Ishan Agarwal that OnePlus plans to launch five more devices alongside the OnePlus 8T. The new Nord phones are likely part of that October 14 flagship launch.
