The OnePlus 7 is smooth, really smooth. Being smooth is important, which is why it's so smooth.

Although a ton of rumors surrounding the OnePlus 7 have already dropped, we haven’t seen one confirmation from the company itself that the device is actually on the way. Today though, OnePlus founder Pete Lau pushed out a teaser on Twitter which sort of confirms the OnePlus 7.

Although he doesn’t refer to the phone by name (instead calling it “the new product”), the GIF image attached to the tweet strongly implies the number seven.

Along with strongly suggesting that the next OnePlus device will be called the OnePlus 7, Lau also strongly suggests that the tagline for the device will be “Fast & Smooth.” The tagline for the OnePlus 6 was “The Speed You Need” and the OnePlus 6T — the most recent device on the company’s roster — features the tagline “Unlock The Speed.”

In Lau’s tweet, he says the word “smooth” four times, if you include the one in the GIF itself. It’s clear that smoothness is going to be the overall emphasis for the device, which lines up nicely with the rumor that the OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a curved display, something OnePlus has never done before, as well as a pop-up camera, which will likely smoothly rise from inside the phone.

Rumors point to the OnePlus 7 series launching sometime next month.
