As we move ever closer to the holidays, deals on electronics are popping up all over the place. We recently told you that the NVIDIA Shield TV was on sale for a historically low price. Now, it’s big brother, the NVIDIA Shield TV Pro is going on sale for $265 with a coupon code.

The differences between the Shield TV and Shield TV Pro are small but significant. The Pro comes with 500 GB of storage space instead of the 16 GB of the base Shield TV. The extra storage allows the device to act as a media server for apps like Plex. You can easily store video files right on the Shield TV Pro and play them back locally or across your network.

In addition to the storage, the Pro also comes with a different remote. The Shield TV Pro’s remote has a rechargeable battery and headphone jack whereas the base Shield TV’s drops those features. The Pro also has an IR receiver, microSD card slot, and micro USB port that the cheaper option lacks.

Both Shield TV models offer Android TV, Google Assistant, and the ability to stream video in 4K at 60 fps. No matter which model you choose, you’re going to get a great deal. And, speaking of great deals, don’t forget to check out our Black Friday deals roundup post for a ton of them.
