“Cool, innovative device with an eye to snatch Apple’s smartphone crown.” That is the Nexus S. With its 1GHz code-named Hummingbird CPU, 512MB of RAM, a 4 inch, Super AMOLED display, 16GB memory plus a taste of Gingerbread, the Nexus S is indeed one of the best Android phones available on the market today. Google’s second version of the Nexus has made a successful debut in the US as well in other countries and was impressively applauded. And now, it will rock the Great White North.
I am pretty sure that the temperature is already rising in Canada and everybody can feel the heat of the Nexus S fever. The smartphone has a price tag of $499.99 off-contract brought you by Mobilicity. Not bad at all. Also, there is some other related news that Rogers, too, has already their own price tags.
Most likely, Rogers and Mobilicity will just have the same price tag of the Nexus S. However, Rogers will be having on-contract offerings unlike Mobilicity that only offers it off-contract. You can get it at a cut-rate price of $99.99 if you sign up for a new contract of three years.
Do you think the Nexus S will really make a successful debut in Canada? Or will it have the same fate like the Nexus One?
