On the eve of possibly the most anticipated Android and Nexus release to date, a bit of a surprise entity has entered the fray. AT&T already has a tiny indicator of the new Motorola Nexus 6 on their site.
Sadly, it is but a tease, but we expect that will change soon. Check it out for yourself on AT&T’s LG G3 Vigor page, scroll down and look for it on the right hand side.
The best part is, if this little thumbnail has revealed legitimate information, we can expect the on-contract price of the AT&T Nexus 6 to be just $49.99.
Being that we knew that the Nexus 6 was just around the corner, the real surprise here should be that this marks the first time AT&T will have a Nexus device on their store shelves from the get go. Not a bad place to start in this Motorola built, Android L powered smartphone.
The Nexus 6, as it is expected to be officially unveiled as soon as tomorrow, will be a 5.9-inch Quad HD device packing a great assortment of high end specifications. I suppose we were expecting the Google Play Store might be our first website officially showing off the device for sale, but wide distribution across carriers may be a solid method to avoid inventory shortages, as has happened to previous Nexus releases.
Perhaps the best part of the little tease is that we now have the full URL at which we’ll be able to find the Nexus 6 on AT&T.
Tomorrow is coming soon enough, so what will it be guys, would you purchase the Nexus 6 from AT&T, or do you prefer to go straight to the source?
