Previous rumors suggest the new Moto X is to be released on September 25th. That’s not a long time to wait, but we know a true geek perceives a week like a year when waiting for a new gadget. Sadly, a new rumor has emerged with an approximate September 26th release date, making you wait an extra day before you get your hands on your own unit.
This information is purportedly coming from a Verizon internal document. A screenshot also gives us pricing details, which happen to be standard for any high-end device. The screenshot mentions the white/bamboo, black/resin and Moto Maker versions will be available for $99-$149 on a 2-year contract, depending on the one you choose.
You can also get these on EDGE and pay $24.99-$27.49 per month. The screenshot will show you all the details and options with luxury of detail. It’s definitely not a cheap phone, but these promotional launch prices are good if you don’t mind signing that contract.
The new Moto X is one hell of a smartphone. You can take a look at our hands-on coverage to learn more about it, but believe me when I tell you images and video don’t give it justice. You really need to hold the device to realize just how well it is built. Not to mention, it offers unique features like voice and touch-less actions.
