Mugen Power unveils 4000 mAh battery case for Xperia Z Ultra, priced at $99
To help counter this issue, Sony already includes a large 3050mAh but if you’re looking to further extend your handset’s life, you’ll be happy to know that Mugen has now produced a new battery case for the Z Ultra.
The case itself looks pretty durable and includes some handy features like a built-in kickstand and what appears to be a stylus. Of course the real magic here is the extra battery life. The massive 4000 mAh battery will more than double the Z Ultra’s battery life and even includes a switch at the bottom so you can turn the power pack on and off as needed.
On the downside, the Mugen battery case also adds some extra weight and bulk to an already super-sized device. This could be a deal-breaker for some, but for others getting double battery life is worth the sacrifice.
