Motorola and Intel’s joint venture, the RAZR i, is slowly making its way into more territories. After its initial release in the UK, the RAZR i now finds itself in a new market, Brazil. This device will be the exact same device that we previously saw during Motorola and Intel’s event in London last month. This is a great initiative by Motorola in that producing devices with the same specifications across multiple territories will cut down on confusion and increase overall popularity.

This is also a big step for the Android market in Latin America. As you know, this is the first Android phone to pack an Intel processor. Bringing this milestone to as many areas of the world is essential for the success of Intel in the Android ecosystem.

In addition to being the first Android phone to have an Intel processor, which is clocked at 2GHz, the RAZR i sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advance screen with a resolution of 960 x 540. In addition, it will offer an 8MP camera alongside NFC functionality so it plays nice with Google’s financial services. The battery clocks in at 2000mAh, a significant improvement when compared with traditional stock batteries. The storage options available are 8GB, 16GB and 32Gb added on top of the microSD slot. Wrap it all up in an aluminum, water-repellent frame with a kevlar backing, and you’ve got a top-notch device.

The RAZR i is also expected to have it’s bootloader unlocked by Motorola quite soon. The device is currently available for R$1,299.
