The Motorola PRO+ will be invading Europe and Asia this coming October, according to the latest information from Motorola Mobility.
Motorola Mobility may also make the Motorola PRO+ available on U.S. mobile network carriers.
The Motorola PRO+ is the handset manufacturer’s newest smartphone innovation designed to be any user’s “personal assistant and best friend” to help cope with the demands of everyday life.
Powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1-inch touchscreen (640×480). The phone’s display panel is scratch-proof, courtesy of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Under the hood are a 1.0-GHz processor, 1600-mAh battery, a 5-megapixel camera, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of internal storage (expandable to 32 GB), sensors, and preloaded apps.
The Motorola PRO+ also has 3G Mobile Hotspot capabilties that enable the phone to share its Internet connection to other mobile devices.
Motorola expects the new smartphone to be able to increase its users’ productivity, since a QWERTY keyboard on a smartphone like the Motorola PRO+ can make typing and information browsing easier and more efficient.
The Motorola PRO+ also has time-saving features that empowers its users to organize their schedules, make conference calls, and send emails smartly.
Although intended mainly for productivity, the Motorola PRO+ is also ready for the hottest games, applications, and connecting to social media sites. Adobe Flash Player 10.3 is onboard, which allows the smartphone user to enjoy Flash-enabled multimedia sites.
This sounds like a smartphone that can allow one to live at ease and at the same time make the most out of one’s work time. But, which do you prefer–a human assistant or a pocket-size personal assistant?
