Motorola Droid RAZR M

Interested in the Motorola Droid RAZR M, but looking for something different than the existing black, white or pink color choices? Those buying directly from Best Buy can now get the Razr M in a new platinum variant as well.

The Best Buy exclusive is $49.99 with a two-year contract, the same pricing as you’ll find with Verizon. As you can see from the picture above, the attractive design is essentially silver with blue accents.

As expected, the platinum version of the RAZR M is otherwise unchanged. For those that need a refresher on the specs, that means it has the same 4.3-inch 960 x 540 display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. Other specs include 8GB storage, microSD expansion, VGA front cam and an 8MP rear cam.

The only thing we are unsure of is the OS onboard. Although Verizon has already rolled out Jelly Bean on the RAZR M already, Best Buy lists the OS as Android 4.0 ICS. It seems a little strange that a brand new color would launch without updating to Jelly Bean. This could just be a listing error on Best Buy’s part. Worst case scenario, you’ll just have to update from ICS to Jelly Bean after booting up for the first time.

What do you think, interested in getting your hands on the platinum version of the Droid RAZR M?
