Just last week, Moto Maker customization finally became available for all four major U.S. Carriers, and at the same time the device received a price drop to just $99.99 — with some carriers offering it for even less as a limited time promotion.
What about those that want the Moto X off-contract? The four major carriers already offer their own in-house financing programs that allows you to spread the costs out, or you can simply pay $499.99 and be done with it. For those looking for a third option, there’s also Motorola financing.
For a limited time, Motorola is offering its own “credit account”, allowing qualified customers to sign up for the ability to buy any Motorola device or accessory for $0 down and 0% interest for 6, 12, or 18 months. To qualify for the full 18 months you’ll need to spend at least $549. For those spending less than that, you can still qualify for 6 to 12 months of interest fee, zero-down financing.
Basically, this offer is just like getting a Motorola-specific credit card, but it’s still a pretty good deal for those that are looking to buy off contract and take their device to a prepaid carrier without spending a bunch upfront. Whether you’re planning to pick up the Moto X or just a bunch of accessories, be sure to pay before the time runs up, or else the interest rate will jump up to 28.99 percent.
What do you think, anyone interested in taking advantage of this offer? If so, you’ll want to head over to Motorola’s website for more details.
