Micromax partnered with SnapDeal to sell the A116 Canvas HD online. There’s no official indication yet as to whether the device will makes it way to physical Micromax stores around the country, or to online retailers, but considering the popularity of this device, it’ll certainly make sense to have the device available from multiple channels.

Why do I say the Micromax A116 Canvas HD is popular? Because, the device SOLD OUT after just 15 minutes of being sale! I’m not sure how many devices were actually sold though, or whether this flurry of orders is just a lot of people buying last minute Valentine’s Day gifts, which probably isn’t a good idea since the device will ship in 5 – 7 days. I’m not particularly surprised either, considering the media attention this device has been getting building up to the launch. Micromax went all out with the publicity, and that certainly seems to have paid off.
