What it's like to film with the LG V30

The LG V30 was undoubtedly one of the best phones of 2017. While it sometimes gets overlooked due to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Pixel 2 XLs of the world, the V30 has one of the best cameras on the market. In my opinion, the wide-angle lens is something that once you have, you don’t want to do without. The phone also includes advanced video features like the ability to shoot log footage and Cine Video. Beyond the photo and video capabilities, the V30 is known for its high-quality DAC. The DAC allows the phone to drive high impedance headphones. It also provides a great audio experience with less distortion and noise regardless of the headphones you use. In an age where OEMs are removing headphone jacks, LG doubled down on it and gives second-to-none audio quality for a phone.

As for specifications, the V30 has a pretty standard setup. It uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which remains the best on the market until phones with the Snapdragon 845 hit the market later this year. The rest of the internals include 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a 3,300 mAh battery.
