If you happen to be one of the few Android users out there still psyched about the idea of rocking an Android phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard, you’re probably keeping an eye out for the LG F3Q.
According to previous reports, the currently unannounced F3Q is essentially a physical keyboard-equipped variant of the existing LG Optimus F3, and is believed to be heading to T-Mobile on January 22nd. Now thanks to a new leak from @evleaks we have a ‘final’ design render and some more detailed specs that help paint a clearer picture of what to expect from the handset.
The rumors of the F3Q’s specs being close to the regular Optimus F3 appear to be spot on. The handset will feature a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, a 4-inch display with a 800×480 resolution display, a 5MP shooter, a 2460 mAh battery, LTE and Jelly Bean 4.1.2. Although @evleaks doesn’t specifythe amount of RAM, we’d guess that it will have the same 1GB found in the F3.
Let’s be honest, this isn’t exactly an impressive device, especially since it has a very low quality display and a fairly outdated version of Android. Still, if your needs are modest and your main priority is to get your hands on a physical keyboard, this could still be a good fit for you.
While there is no word on the pricing just yet, we’d imagine that the monthly payments will be extremely affordable for this little guy. As for the amount down, all T-Mobile handsets are now zero-down, so we’d expect the same here. So how about it, anyone out there still interested in picking up a handset with a physical keyboard? If so, does this one pique your interest, or are the specs just too low-end for your tastes?
