LG L Fino and L Bello arriving to Brazil this week, other markets in the weeks to come
We first learned about the LG L Fino and L Bello back in August, where LG introduced the devices as “powerful alternatives to higher-priced smartphones” with the budget-crowd and emerging markets in mind. At the time LG didn’t give exact release timeframes, but today the company issued a press statement revealing that the handsets will hit Brazil this week and will follow in other countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia in “the coming weeks”.
So what exactly makes the Fino and Bello stand out? Honestly, it’s not their specs. The Fino has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of only 800×480 and a 1.2Ghz quad-core CPU with just 1GB RAM. Other specs include 4GB storage, an 8MP rear cam, VGA front cam, a 1900 mAh battery, HSPA+ 3G support and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. As for the slightly more powerful Bello, we get a 1.3GHz quad-core configuration with 1GB RAM, a 5-inch 854×480 display, 8GB storage, an 8MP rear cam, 1MP front cam, HSPA+ 3G support, a 2540 mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Okay, so if specs aren’t the stand out here, what is? In short, these budget devices mimick the design of the high-end LG G3 and even borrow a few features from the handset such as Knock Code support, many G3 software features and even their own QuickCircle case.
As for how much these phones will set consumers back when they start arriving this week? That we don’t know just yet, though we imagine they’ll be reasonably affordable, given the specs.
