At last year’s Google I/O developer conference everyone in the audience found themselves taking home a Chromebook Pixel. This year, attendees are getting two Android Wear goodies — one of which they’ll be able to take home with them immediately. That’s right, Google is folks a choice between the LG G Watch or the Samsung Gear Live. Additionally, the Moto 360 will be sent to them in a few months when its properly available, giving developers both a round and square form factor to play around with.
With the G Watch or the Gear Live in tow developers will be able to dive into the world of Android Wear development right away, while also sporting one of the most exciting wearable devices of 2014. Although some folks would probably rather have gotten their hands on the Moto 360 right away, at least they are getting a free 360 eventually.
If you didn’t attend the show, you’ll also be able to pick up the G Watch or the Gear Live from Google Play when it hits later today! The Moto 360 is expected later this summer, or in early fall.
