QWERTY-equipped LG F3Q reportedly arriving to T-Mobile alongside the Xperia Z1S on Jan 22
Outside of the world of Blackberry, smartphones equipped with physical keyboards have become quite a rarity thanks to ever-improving touchscreens with highly optimized on-screen keyboards. Still, there are some folks that truly prefer a physical keyboard, and that’s exactly who the rumored LG F3Q is targeted it.
The LG F3Q has been seen in a leaked render before, but now a newly leaked internal T-Mobile calendar has surfaced suggesting that the new handset will arrive on January 22nd, alongside the Xperia Z1S. Although we can’t 100% confirm the validity of the leaked calendar, we do know that T-Mobile has already announced the Z1S will in fact hit T-Mobile stores on the 22nd of January.
Unlike the Z1S, the F3Q is not a high-end flagship device. While we don’t yet have official specs just yet, the handset is reportedly related to the LG Optimus F3. If this is true, that means we are looking at a dual-core 1.2GHz handset with only 1GB of RAM and a modest 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800.
Still, if you’re a fan of physical keyboards and have relatively modest needs, the T-Mobile bound handset could fit the bill. No word on pricing, but we imagine it will be relatively low-pricedWhat do you think, still like the idea of a physical keyboard on your Android device? If so, interested in the F3Q, or are the rumored specs just too low end for your tastes?
