More pictures of the Ophone have surfaced over at the iloveophone by Sina Blog. This time, however, we can finally see what the Ophone looks like relative to its inspiration; the iPhone and iPhone 3G.

In short, it is slightly bigger (1mm), but not enough to notice even when holding them in your own hands. The Ophone is reputed to come with a better spec sheet, including what the iPhone misses out on most: a 5 megapixel camera. With that said, we have not been able to confirm the specifications of the Ophone from Lenovo, so until we hear more from the horse’s mouth, we should remain cautious.

In reality, we would expect to see an OPhone device that outperforms the iPhone 3G in many aspects, and in truth, if the OPhone wants to take anything by storm, it should possibly even aim to match what the next iPhone iteration will be (presuming the traditional 12 month cycle). Otherwise the OPhone will just be a similar device to the iPhone, but 6 months behind! If anyone wants to capture the spot-light off Apple for innovation and design, proceeding the next generation of iPhone with a device that matches it is the only way.
