If you’ve been waiting for Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean on your HTC One S, you might be able to try it out very soon. You’ll just need a little luck on your side.

While the international versions of the HTC One S begins to receive the official upgrade to Jelly Bean, a small group of VIPs in the United States are getting emails offering the opportunity to test the Jelly Bean beta. It isn’t clear what credentials you may need to have to be included in this offer, but it doesn’t look like a large amount of people are being offered the beta.

While this is a good sign, there is still no clear indication of exactly when T-Mobile will begin to roll out this update to users of the HTC One S. Still, if you’re a One S user, it will be nice to know that you’re one step closer to experiencing Jelly Bean goodness on your device. When the update is made official, we’ll be sure to report it here.

Have you been chosen by HTC to try the Jelly Bean beta on your HTC One S? Let us know! Have you noticed any bugs? How is the performance?
