December 17, 2013

Good news, Humble Bundle fans, Humble Bundle 8 has been released including six games that can be played on Windows, Mac, Linux, and naturally, on Android.

The Humble Bundle 8 list includes Hero Academy, Anomaly 2, Gemini Rue, Little Inferno, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! and Jack Lumber. Additionally, soundtracks are also available for four of the six games including Anomaly 2, Gemini Rue, Little Inferno and Jack Lumber.

The current average price is a $3.91 – pay less, and you get only four games. Pay more than that, and you’ll get Hero Academy and Anomaly 2 (which are otherwise locked), the Anomaly 2 soundtrack (otherwise locked) and access to more games that will arrive soon. The price will go up in time, but the bundle will still be more than affordable – the current titles would otherwise cost $80.

As always, it’s up to you to decide how much to pay for this Humble Bundle, and who gets the money, between charity, developers and the Humble Bundle team.

Humble Bundle currently supports the Child’s Play Charity and the Electronic Frontier Foundation – the latter has only recently taken a stance against Google, grilling the company for the removal of the App Ops app in Android 4.4.2.

Finally, in case you plan to gift the Humble Bundle 8 to anyone, you can do so as well, especially now that Christmas is coming.

At the time this article was written, over 38,200 bundles were sold for around $150,000.
