With MWC only a week away, we’re starting to see plenty of companies teasing their upcoming devices ahead of the event. Huawei is no exception, and has now launched a new advertisement that not only hints at several new devices, it also semi-subtly takes a jab at the two biggest giants in the mobile industry: Apple and Samsung.

The video starts by showing off a device with no branding or buttons, but with a look that clearly resembles an iPhone. The device’s owner then starts asking a Siri-type assistant questions about what amazing new things are coming to MWC this year.

From there, Huawei teases that a new tablet is coming that has a “beautiful slim design” and a “huge battery”. It also shows a few images that hint at the design, without fully giving anything away. The video then moves on to talk about a phone with an “amazing front camera” and another tablet that will focus on entertainment and will support next-gen LTE technology.

Aside from using an iPhone for an ad, the video ends by jabbing at Samsung by referring to them as “Some Song” and Apple as “Fruit”.

Although this teaser doesn’t give away too many details about their upcoming products, it’s still a well executed video and drives home the point that there are other great handset manufacturers out there besides just Samsung and Apple.
