The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro according to Onleaks and Pricebaba

We already know that the HUAWEI Mate 30 series will take center stage at the company’s Munich event tomorrow (September 19). But it seems like the Chinese brand has a lot more up its sleeve.

According to Android Headlines, the firm will also reveal the HUAWEI Watch GT 2, a new fitness tracker, and potentially new tablets.

Starting with the Watch GT 2 (seen below), the outlet notes that they’ll be available in 42mm and 46mm sizes and in four styles. The former size will feature a 1.2-inch AMOLED screen (390 x 390 resolution), while the latter will deliver a 1.39-inch AMOLED display (454 x 454).

The HUAWEI Watch GT2 series according to Android Headlines.

Both watches are said to be powered by the Kirin A1 chip, and are tipped to offer GPS, a gyro sensor, air pressure sensor, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart-rate sensor, and 5ATM water-resistance certification. Android Headlines also claims that the smaller watch won’t have a microphone.

The outlet didn’t shed much light on the fitness tracker (seen below), save for giving us apparent renders and a code-name (Andes). The renders show a tracker with a color screen, single button up-front, heart-rate sensor, and supposedly an SpO2 sensor.

Android Headlines also says they’ve been “given the impression” that new Android tablets are coming. More specifically, the brand reckons that the MediaPad M6 will be launching in the West, following its Chinese launch in June. The slate packs a Kirin 980 chipset, so it should pack quite a punch compared to other tablets. Just don’t expect pre-installed Google apps.

Finally, the outlet says a HUAWEI-branded TV is on the way too (seen above), although it didn’t explicitly say that it’ll launch at the event. It’s believed that this features a pop-up camera much like the HONOR Vision and that it’ll run the HarmonyOS platform. There’s no word on potential screen sizes, but it’s claimed that it’ll be available in a 4K version.

We’ve seen loads of apparent Mate 30 series leaks as well this week, including renders showing the Mate 30 Pro, vanilla Mate 30, Mate 30 Porsche Design model, and the Mate 30 Lite. All the phones bar the Mate 30 Lite are set to be powered by the Kirin 990 chipset. We’re also expecting dual 40MP rear cameras (normal and ultra-wide) accompanied by an 8MP telephoto camera.
