HTC rolling out Marshmallow to several North American carriers next week
HTC will soon begin rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for several North American carriers. The update will only reach certain devices, such as the One M9 and the One M8.
If you’re living in Canada and got your One M9 from Rogers, SaskTel, Videotron, or Wind, you should be receiving the Marshmallow update on your phone early next week. This news was delivered by Mo Versi, who works as the VP of Product Management at HTCUSA.
There’s good news for One M8 owners in the US as well, but limited to Sprint subscribers only. You guys should begin receiving the Android Marshmallow update by the middle of next week. Meanwhile, T-Mobile One M8 owners who are still waiting for Marshmallow, the good news is that the Marshmallow update is currently under testing and has a target release date of January 25th.
