With leaks and rumors about the HTC Puccini coming in from all corners at a fast pace lately, we have a very strong gut feeling that its debut is imminent. In fact, September 1 just might be the right date for that.

The Taiwanese company HTC has been reportedly sending out invitations to the press and media for an “event” on September 1, presumably an unveiling event for a new device. According to those who have received their invitations, no clues were given regarding what device might be debuted at the event. And, since HTC doesn’t have any other new and major Android device coming up, our suspicion about the HTC Puccini’s debut grows stronger.

Current rumors point to a mid-August launch date for the HTC Puccini. But, given the fact that HTC’s invitations held back on definitive details, we’re more likely to pin down September 1 as the launch date for the HTC Puccini.

The HTC Puccini is HTC’s first jab at a 10.1-inch tablet. It reportedly packs a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor running up to 1.5 GHz with Android 3.2 Honeycomb onboard, an 8-megapixel primary camera with dual-LED flash, and support for stylus-based input.

Recently sighted Federal Communications Commission (FCC) documents also suggest radios for GSM, WCDMA, and 4G LTE. The latest leaked screenshots of its interface also paint a lovely picture of this powerful tablet.

Are you ready to ditch your current Android tablet in favor of the HTC Puccini?
